Jan Mayfield, M.D., cares for patients at Floyd Urgent Care in Rockmart.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, and her medical doctorate from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. She completed her residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Services in Little Rock.

Dr. Mayfield is board certified in emergency medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She is also a member of the following:

• Georgia Medical Society
