Our Stephen D. Smith M.D. Pediatric Center is staffed with specially trained nurses, pediatricians and specialty doctors that provide expert care to children of all ages. Consulting physicians from Children's Center for Digestive Health Care are also available for children with special needs.

Our brightly-decorated 22-bed pediatric unit includes:

• Intermediate care unit for critically ill and injuried patients 20 and under
• Limited access to ensure child safety
• Private rooms equipped with child care necessities including television and entertainment options
• Special areas for families
• Play areas that include games, books, toys and videos
