Support is a large part of our continuum of care. We assist our patients in developing or strengthening an intact support system that includes family, community and employment.

Alcoholics Anonymous
This program is open to the public and is a 12 step group designed for the addicted person. The group meets on-site at Floyd Behavioral Health Center on a weekly basis.

Alanon
This program is open to the public and is for family members of an addicted person. The group meets on-site at Floyd Behavioral Health Center on a weekly basis.

AfterCare
This program is designed as a support for a patient of Floyd after discharge from our inpatient or intensive outpatient services. The group focuses on relapse prevention and building a support system.

Family Education Groups
This program is designed as a support and educational tool for family members of patients transitioning from our inpatient or intensive outpatient program. The groups discuss the illness, how to support the person affected and how to interact more effectively.
