Stress Assessments

Stress is any action or situation that places special physical or psychological demands on your equilibrium. Both good and bad actions and situations produce stress. So, while some actions are obviously stressful, like divorce, other actions are stressful without appearing to be, like marriage.

Take a few minutes to check theboxes next to the life events you are currently experiencing. Use the instructions below the assessment to determine your results.

2. A major change in sleeping habits (sleeping more or less or change in part of the day when you sleep)

30. Major change in responsibilities at work (promotion, demotion, transfer)

33. Spouse beginning or ceasing work outside the home
34. Taking on a mortgage greater than $25,000 (purchase a new home, business, etc.)
35. Taking on a mortgage or loan less than $25,000 (purchase a car, appliance, boat, etc.)
