CARF-Accreditation

Floyd’s Inpatient Rehabilitation facility is sthe only in the area to receive the seal of quality from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

CARF-accredited facilities design and deliver services that are focused on the needs of the patient, incorporate the active involvement of patients as partners in their care and have systems to manage outcomes and continuously improve quality of individual programs and organizational practices.

Accreditation means Floyd has passed an in-depth review of its services and meets rigorous guidelines for service and quality. CARF accreditation also is a sign of assurance to third-party payors and governmental regulators that Floyd has met internationally recognized standards. It is evidence that Floyd strives to improve efficiency, fiscal health and service delivery–creating a foundation for consumer satisfaction.

By helping patients with our coordinated team approach that includes doctors, nurses, therapists and case management, we are able to see approximately 82 percent of our patients return to their homes to live a fulfilling life after their recovery.
